the new oatmeal cookie

ben brought this recipe back from a hotel clerk who printed it out for him with his receipt at checkout. we call them the mistress cookies (wink wink).

but they are really good and pretty healthy for a cookie! you're going to think there's no way they're done because they're so dough-y when you take them out. but trust me, they'll harden to a nice crispy outside and chewy middle. they're already ben's favorites and i brought a batch to church and immediately had demands for the recipe! (hope they worked out for you Mary!)
